La Prima de Esther
This is a family portrait featuring Esther's prima hermana, Eneida,
together with her mother and sister (with cigarette) and, in the background, one of her daughters. Eneida succumbed
to cancer this year. Esther was able to visit her twice in recent months and during one of those visits ran across the
old photograph upon which the painting is based.
